Duarte USD & VH1 Save the Music celebrate Music in in our Schools Month with All-District Band Showcase

DUSD and the Foundation Rebuilt Band Programs to All Five Elementary Schools in Two Years



WHO: Andres Duarte Elementary Band, Beardslee Elementary Band, Maxwell Elementary Band, Royal Oaks Elementary Band, Valley View Elementary Band, Northview Intermediate Band, Duarte High School Concert and Marching Bands, VH1 Save The Music Foundation


WHAT:  Duarte Unified School District (DUSD) and VH1 Save The Music Foundation will celebrate Arts Education Month and Music In Our Schools Month through an all-district band showcase. Launched district-wide two years ago in partnership with VH1 Save The Music, DUSD’s elementary band programs offers all 5th and 6th grade students in each elementary school the opportunity to learn a musical instrument.
