Summer Meals Program

  • During the school year, more than 31 million children receive free and reduced-price breakfast and lunch through the School Breakfast and National School Lunch Programs. But what happens when school lets out for summer? The Summer Food Service Program is designed to make sure children can continue to get the nutritious meals they need even when school is not in session, and to help ensure that no child goes hungry this summer.
