Dr. Tatiana White
Dr. Tatiana White is the Teaching & Learning Coach for Royal Oaks STEAM Academy. She is a Southern California native, born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley. She attended Cal Poly Pomona, earning her Bachlor of Science Degree, and the University of Laverne, where she received her Doctorate. Dr. White began her teaching career in special education, but then transitioned to the general education classroom. She earned her teaching credentials from Cal Poly Pomona, Cal State Sacremento, and UCLA. She has experience working with students from kindergarten through high school. She is also the proud mom of two great kids. Her son has since graduated high school and is attending college. He sees himself as a future engineer. Her daughter currently attends the joint program between CSArts-SGV and Royal Oaks, in the creative writing conservatory. Additionally, her immediate family still lives in the area and they enjoy spending time together. Her home is rounded out with an ever-changing selection of animals, from dogs and cats, to snakes and chameleons. Sometimes, it's a real zoo! She does also loves to be outdoors; gardening, hiking, the beach, and the mountains. She enjoys watching sports, and is a huge fan of both the Dodgers and Bruins. At home, she likes to cook and bake, and is an avid reader.
