Virtual Academy Program - Interest Survey

  • Duarte Unified School District (DUSD) will start this school year using a robust and rigorous 100% Distance Learning Model for all students with the goal being to transition to in-person instruction, but only when it is safe for students, staff, and families to return to our campuses. Because conditions related to COVID-19 are continually changing, we do not have a fixed timeline for the safe reopening of our school buildings right now. We do understand that some parents/guardians may not want their children to return for in-person instruction when the district makes this transition and would prefer for their children to participate in full-time remote learning for the entire 2020-2021 school year. The DUSD Virtual Academy Program is being developed to meet this need. This option will provide the core curriculum for Grades TK-12 and commence at the time when students transition to in-person instruction.

To accurately plan for DUSD's Virtual Academy Program, we are conducting this survey to determine the number of students who would be interested in this option.

We request that your response be submitted by Monday, August 3, 2020.
