Mr. Scott Moses is the Principal of Andres Duarte Arts Academy. Mr. Moses has been an integral member of the DUSD team since 2000 where he got his start as a classroom teacher at Beardslee Elementary. Since this time he has taught at several campuses within the district and served in numerous capacities including Summer School Principal, Outreach Consultant, President of the Duarte Unified Education Association, and most recently as the Principal for the Northview 8th Grade Village. 

His fifteen years of elementary experience, coupled with his experience as both a teacher and administrator at the middle school level, will be beneficial in his new role as the Principal of Andres Duarte Arts Academy. Mr. Moses is equipped with a deep understanding of pedagogy and a student-centered focus that will help move Andres Duarte forward as they continue to rise as the only TK-8 Artful Learning Academy in the nation.

“I am extremely honored and could not be more pleased to join the team at Andres Duarte and look forward to the chance to continue with the DUSD family and become part of a new community of learners. I intend to work together with caring and compassion to help take Andres Duarte to new heights, and I am grateful for this opportunity and am committed to continue to nurture and support the dynamic things happening at this school," said Mr. Moses.
