Ms. Rendón
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome your child to the seventh grade. My name is Ms. Maribel Rendón. I am excited about this year at Maxwell Academy, and I’m glad your child is in my class. I have a B.A. in Mexican-American Studies from CSULA and a Master’s Degree in Education from Framingham University and really enjoy my profession. I began teaching at Maxwell Academy in 2014 but this is my 15th year of teaching. I am looking forward to watching some amazing things happen.
Some of my favorites include:
Food: I love trying different kinds of foods. I don't have one type of food that I favor. Some of my favorite dishes include sushi, posole, pupusas, and hot and sour soup.
Drink: Coffee and San Pellegrino Aranciata Rossa Sparkling Soda
Hobbies: I love to travel to other countries. Whenever I have time, my friends and I get together and cook meals together.
Book: Some of my favorite books include The Cay, The Alchemist, and House on Mango Street
