At Duarte Unified School District, we support our tech-savvy 21st Century learning community by having one of the largest 1:1 Laptop programs in the San Gabriel Valley. All students in Grades 6-12 are issued an HP chrome book laptop to be used both at school and at home. Students have access to both their district Google Account as well as OneDrive storage, and each device has Absolute Computrace for data and device security. Every student in Grades K-5 has access to a classroom laptop to use for assignments and research. Other laptop carts, ipads, and devices are available to share among the TK and Kinder classes at each site. 

Purchasing the optional insurance is highly encouraged for all students in Grades 6-12, and is available through an outside company, Worth Ave Group. The deadline to purchase the $15 insurance for this year is September 30, 2018. Buy online at the link provided below or bring payment to your child's school office in either cash or check made payable to DUSD. 

The purchasing window will reopen January 7th, 2019 - January 25th, 2019 for students who have yet to purchase laptop insurance and would like to do so for $10 for the remaining portion of the school year.  Students will be required to show their Digital Media Specialist their laptop for inspection prior to purchasing insurance.
