My name is Angel Montoy and I am the RSP Teacher at Maxwell Academy. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal studies from Cal State LA. I received my Education Specialist credential from Cal Poly Pomona. I am very passionate about helping students that face challenges in their everyday life be successful in the Classroom. My goal in life is to help students with different backgrounds reach their full potential because I was a student that faced many challenges as well throughout my education. I was a student that came from a Spanish speaking family that had limited formal educational backgrounds. Over the years, I have acquired a variety of strategies to support and motivate all students. I am happily married and have three beautiful children. We love camping, outdoor activities, and spending quality time together.
