Dear Parents and Families,
We warmly invite you to join us for our Multicultural Day on Friday, May 15, 2026! This special day is a wonderful opportunity for children to explore and celebrate the diverse cultures within our classroom community.
How can you participate?
We encourage you to share a part of your culture in a simple, engaging way. Here are a few ideas:
Dress in cultural attire: Wear traditional clothing or bring items such as scarves, hats, or accessories to help children connect with your culture in a tangible way.
Bring visual items: Photos of family celebrations, homes, or important places are a great way to show what daily life or special events look like in your culture.
Share music and movement: Play a short song and teach the children a few simple dance moves, claps, or gestures—young children love rhythm and participation!
Read a story: A short story or folktale from your culture is a meaningful and engaging way to share traditions.
Important reminder:
To ensure the safety and well-being of all students—especially those with food allergies—we kindly ask that families do not bring food to share. We appreciate your understanding as we work to maintain a safe and inclusive environment for everyone.
Please coordinate with your child’s teacher ahead of time so your contribution fits smoothly into the classroom schedule. Some classes may use rotating stations, while others may have brief presentations.
We look forward to celebrating with you!
