Duarte Unified School District proudly announces that Royal Oaks STEAM Academy has earned recognition as both a California School to Watch and a National School to Watch, honoring exemplary middle grades programs grounded in academic excellence, equity, and developmental responsiveness.
The designation follows a California Schools to Watch validation visit on January 6, 2026, which included classroom observations, interviews, and student, parent, and community panels.
