Duarte Residents: To attend a DUSD School other than the School of Residence

 
Duarte Unified offers various enrollment options that meet district students' diverse needs and interests. The parents/guardians of any student who resides within district boundaries may apply to enroll their child in any Duarte Unified School, regardless of residence within the District. BP 5116.1 
IMPORTANT:
  • This is to request a transfer to an alternate DUSD school.
  • This is NOT to transfer out of DUSD to another district
  • You DO NOT submit an application if your student was granted an intradistrict permit for the current school they are attending.
  • Late applications will not be accepted 
2025-26 School Year Application Window Closed
 
2026-27 School Year Application Window Closed
 
2027-28 School Year Application Window Opens October 31, 2026 
 
Submission for the proceeding School Year: October 31 to February 28
Applications will be processed after the Intradistrict window closes on February 28, and families will be contacted mid-March.
