Free Summer Feeding

Duarte Unified offers free Lunch and Breakfast to any student that is currently enrolled at Duarte USD or California School of the Arts - San Gabriel Valley during our normal school year. 

Our Free Summer Meal Program (Anyone 18 and under), regardless of residency is happening at 2 School Sites:  MAXWELL ES and VALLEY VIEW ES. We will operate our Free Summer Meal Program from 6/3/2025 to 8/8/2025 (Except 6/19 and 7/4). If you have any questions regarding serving times, please feel free to contact the Food Service Department at 626-599-5022.

Times for service will be as follows: 

For the month of June we will be open after summer school between 12:00 - 1:00 pm. This is due to Summer School not getting out till Noon. 

For the Months of July and August we will be open from 11:30 AM - 1:00 pm. 

Also, If you are out of town and not able to join us and wish to find Free Food over the summer for students 18 and under. You can do so by texting "FOOD" or "COMIDA" to 304-304. This service will provide information on nearby summer meal sites. You can also call 1-866-3-HUNGRY or visit the USDA's Summer Meals for Kids Site Finder.
