Due to the board vacancy, the Duarte Unified School District is requesting all those interested in serving on the school board to submit an application. Applications are available here on the district website, and at the District Office, 1620 Huntington Drive, Duarte, CA, 91010. Applications should be emailed to [email protected] or brought to the District Office no later than July 16, 2024, at 4:00 p.m.


To be eligible to apply for appointment to the Governing Board, an individual must be at least 18 years old, be a resident of the Duarte Unified School District, be a registered voter in the State of California, and not be disqualified from holding civil office by the constitution or any law of the State of California.


This appointee will hold office until the next regular election in November 2024.
